Cookie policy
On the public pages of this website, nothing is placed on your device unless you choose so. There are three cookies: one that remembers your choice, one that is placed only with your consent, and one that appears only after you sign in to a closed page.

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Dutch version is the binding text; in the event of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.
1. Without your consent, nothing is placed on your device
When you visit this website, nothing is placed on your device and nothing is read from it, unless you yourself give us consent to do so (§ 3). No advertising or tracking software runs, there are no buttons or counters from social networks on the pages, and no video, map or other content from an external party is embedded. Even the fonts come from our own server. When you open a page, no request whatsoever goes to any party other than ourselves.
That is why we ask you one question, once — not a window full of choices: there is exactly one cookie for which we need your consent.
2. Our visitor measurement: our own, without a cookie
We count how often our pages are viewed. We do that counting ourselves, on our own server; no external statistics platform is involved. After a page has loaded, your browser reports once which path you opened and, if you came here from another website, which website that was. Nothing further.
- nothing is placed on or read from your device — no cookie, no storage;
- your IP address is not stored;
- no profile is built and you are not followed from one website to another;
- we cannot link a count to a person.
To see how many different visitors a day had, our server calculates, within that day, an irreversible code that incorporates a random number chosen afresh every day. That number is discarded at the end of the day and never reused; after that, those codes can no longer be linked to anything. What remains of a month are figures: how many views per page, how many visitors per day, which domains referred to us. Exactly what is recorded, and for how long, is set out in ourprivacy statement.
This count requires no consent, because it does not touch your device. If Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is switched on in your browser, the page reports nothing and your visit is not counted.
3. With your consent: recognising when you return
We would like to know which pages a visitor views in sequence, and whether they come back later. That is only possible with a cookie, and so we ask you — at the foot of the page, on your first visit.
If you choose Agree, our server places one cookie,ll_bezoeker, containing a random number. For every page you open after that, our server records that number together with the date and time, the path of the page, the website you came from and the language. Not your IP address, not your name, nothing about your device. The number does not tell us who you are; it only tells us that the same browser came back. The cookie remains for 12 months, and we keep the recorded visits for the same period.
If you choose Rather not, this cookie is not placed and only the count from § 2 remains. We remember your answer in the cookiell_keuze, so that we do not ask again on every visit. That cookie contains nothing but "yes" or "no".
You can revise your choice at any time via Cookie preference at the foot of every page. If you then choose Rather not after all, we delete ll_bezoeker and record nothing further; what was recorded until then disappears with the monthly file after the retention period. If Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is switched on in your browser, we do not even ask: your answer then counts as no.
4. One functional cookie, only after signing in
Our own administration page is not public, and in addition we can temporarily close a page. If a page is closed, the server first asks for a password. If you enter the correct password, our server places one cookie:ll_sessie.
That cookie contains only a random session number — no name, no password, no personal data. It exists to remember that you have just signed in; without it you would have to log in again on every following page. It is readable only by the server, is sent only over a secure connection, and disappears as soon as you sign out or close your browser. If you never sign in, it is never placed — not even on a page we have just opened up. On pages behind a password we measure nothing, moreover.

6. Why we ask consent for one cookie and not for the others
Consent is required for placing or reading information on your device, unless that is strictly necessary to provide a service you yourself have requested. The cookie ll_bezoeker is not necessary — the website works without it — and serves only to recognise returning visits. So for that one we ask your consent, and without it the cookie is not placed.
The cookie ll_keuze is needed to respect your answer: without it we would have to ask the question again on every page. The session cookie is placed only after you yourself have entered a password, and serves only to hold that sign-in — without it, the service you are requesting simply does not work. Our visitor measurement from § 2 does not touch your device and for that reason falls outside the consent requirement.
We set out our own consideration here and do not present it as legal advice.
7. What else happens during a visit
Your browser requests the page from our server, and that server keeps — as with almost any web hosting — a log file of it, including the IP address of your connection. That is not a cookie: it is on the server and not on your device. What those log files contain, why they exist and how long they are kept, you can read in ourprivacy statement.
8. Your browser settings
If your browser blocks cookies, or deletes them automatically, the website simply works; we then ask the question from § 3 again on a later visit, or not at all if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Only on the closed pages is the session cookie needed — if cookies are blocked there, you cannot stay signed in.
9. Changes and questions
If anything changes about what is set out above, we will amend this page. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
